I think it is being installed as a dependency of kimageannotator. for some reason, this did not happen here

Thats interesting. The PKGBUILD has been adapted to fit the "official" community PKGBUILD of ksnip, which doesnt have this one as dependency. I'll add it back though, sorry for the inconvenience.

why is kcolorpicker no longer a dependency? I can't open ksnip without it ksnip: error while loading shared libraries: libkColorPicker.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Deleted both kcolorpicker-git and kimageannotator-git, and rebuilt ksnip-git. Everything works fine. Thank you.
