Hey, to make it works for 1.31.1 I'd slightly modify source URL as follows:

-source+=(${pkgname}-${pkgver}-${_pkgarch}::"https://storage.googleapis.com/kubernetes-release/release/v${pkgver}/bin/linux/${_pkgarch}/kubelet")
+source+=(${pkgname}-${pkgver}-${_pkgarch}::"https://cdn.dl.k8s.io/release/v${pkgver}/bin/linux/${_pkgarch}/kubelet")

Thanks to comments here, I've realized that for my purpose of running stable Kubernetes, I do not need those packages anymore. Feel free, to update it anyway - could be useful for testing alpha/beta Kubernetes releases or running some old version of it.

Fixed - thanks @jrd

The line with source+=(https://…) should rather look like:

source+=($pkgname-$pkgver::https://…)

as source destination should be unique (https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/PKGBUILD#Sources)

So in the package section, it should rather be:

install -D -m0755 "$pkgname-$pkgver" "${pkgdir}/usr/bin/kubelet"

fixed, and updated to 1.13.0-00

since kubernetes-bin now supports armv7l/h, aarch64 and x86_64, does anybody need this package anymore? or should it be removed along with kubeadm-bin? if people have a need, i'll keep supporting it, but i also don't want to support a package that is now obsolete.

The arm64/aarch64 package URL is incorrect. Add the "00_" before "arm64" like the other URLs and it works.

updated to 1.12.00-0

all good, it the orphan request was mainly for danderson, since no one could contact him :)

I've released kubernetes-cni-bin and kubeadm-bin as well. They've fallen to the next maintainer, danderson. If you want to take those over, I suggest contacting him. Thanks, and sorry again that these didn't get maintained better the last few months.

Sorry about that icebal. Glad to see you've taken it over now. I'm going to ensure I've abandoned the other related k8s packages in case you want to maintain them as well.
