Please add Splash screen installation of this theme, it's broken atm and needs manual installation with setting's GUI
UPD:
mv /usr/share/plasma/look-and-feel/com.github.eliverlara.sweet /usr/share/plasma/look-and-feel/Sweet
fixes the problemSkyHeart commented on 2021-11-27 03:54 (UTC)
I'm not able to install or update this package any more after the latest commit,
this is what I get when I try to install with paru or yay
``` ==> Starting package_kvantum-theme-sweet-git()... mv: cannot stat 'kvantum': No such file or directory ==> ERROR: A failure occurred in package_kvantum-theme-sweet-git(). Aborting... error: failed to build 'sweet-kde-git-r212.ab6a7d3-1 (kvantum-theme-sweet-git)': error: packages failed to build: sweet-kde-git-r212.ab6a7d3-1 (kvantum-theme-sweet-git)
It appears the second version of the theme called "Sweet-transparent-toolbar" has been put into its own folder a result of recent changes to the code on Github.
This breaks the current PKGBUILD and places both themes in the /usr/share/kvantum/Sweet instead of /usr/share/kvantum.
I created mine first, so idk why they made theirs, probably didn't see this package, or didn't understand it's a group package, or something, it's the same otherwise.
What's the difference between this and https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/kvantum-theme-sweet-nova-git?
They both seem to be the nova branch.
Thank you, I'm trying to submit a request, there is a weird error when I click Submit, will do it as soon as I figured out.
Edit: Figured out, I mistaken its pkgname with pkgbase, finally submitted a merge request.
@duongdominhchau no I wouldn't do that! That would cause some conflicts. I think it's easier to put in a merge request to merge the two packages into one -- go to the "Submit Request" link on this page (https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/sweet-kvantum-git/).
@twilk I have just checked that
PKGBUILD
, look like it builds more packages than mine. What should I do to merge this package into that one?twilk commented on 2020-04-29 16:18 (UTC)
Hi! How does this package relate to
kvantum-theme-sweet-git
? Is it a duplicate or does it do something different? If they are the same, is it worth merging the two packages?
