Hi, I don't think kdoctools or kdesignerplugins are actual dependencies, since kvpm doesn't link against anything in those packages.
But you are right that CMake won't configure without them. So I added them as makedepends.

Hi, the package is missing kdoctools and kdesigner as dependencies, CMake won't configure without them

jo.mei commented on 2017-02-04 13:27

Hi,

since the packages was orphaned I took over ownership and updated it to the current version.

If any problems occur please comment.

This should be in the main repository

Why did someone flag this package out of date? I don't see any newer version from upstream.

DigitalPioneer commented on 2013-06-04 17:55

Arch is getting rid of /usr/sbin, and this package installs files in that directory. Please alter the package to move those files to /usr/bin instead. See: https://www.archlinux.org/news/binaries-move-to-usrbin-requiring-update-intervention/

I have managed to compile and install KVPM 0.7.0 with a weird workaround. I have started a forum thread here: https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=105559

lvm2 just got updated... but the build fails. Any ideas?

Updated to 0.7.0 which depends on lvm>=2.02.73, that is currently only availible via cvs. Sorry about the source link I didn't have an internet connection for a while, and thank you zdenton for updatinging it. Also I am disowning this package due to lack of time.

This PKGBUILD contains an outdated source, so I updated the source line to reflect the current location of the kvpm source. The updated PKGBUILD is here: http://aur.pastebin.com/AQDtpaDc
