@spacecowgirl There is no default alias in KWalletD, creating one should make it work, you can do it with :

gdbus call --session --dest org.freedesktop.secrets --object-path /org/freedesktop/secrets --method org.freedesktop.Secret.Service.SetAlias default /org/freedesktop/secrets/collection/$COLLECTION

$COLLECTION should be kdewallet by default but you can make query the list of collections with :

gdbus call --session --dest org.freedesktop.secrets --object-path /org/freedesktop/secrets --method org.freedesktop.DBus.Properties.Get org.freedesktop.Secret.Service Collections

reference : https://invent.kde.org/frameworks/kwallet/-/merge_requests/11#note_221077

edit : Also it is a bug of libsecret not creating the default collection when it is not found, a fix has been merged. https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/libsecret/-/merge_requests/94

How do I get this to work? I cannot use secret-tool nor does it allow the official Minecraft launcher to automatically login. Mailspring doesn't work as well. I was hoping I wouldn't have to install gnome-keyring when I found this but it doesn't appear to be working. Any help or instructions would be appreciated.
