You can set the source using this url

https://www.kyoceradocumentsolutions.us/content/download-center-americas/us/drivers/drivers/Kyocera_Linux_PPD_Ver_8_1601_tar_gz.download.gz

but of course the PKGBUILD must be fixed.

Hi, I'm failing to install this package, it seems alike the source (.tar.gz) file is broken. I'm only getting a 106kB big file, which I'm not able to open manually. Also within the source path I'm not able to find the file on the Kyocera Homepage.

It would be really nice, if somebody could help me out. Thanks :)

I'm having the same issue as @datman and @alyst, does anyone have a workaround for this?

I see a way we can get the UTAX TA ppd back. See file repack.sh if you can help by hosting this file.

Upstream link is dead.

I am getting the same error as alyst below - using a FS-C2026MFP

Everything was working fine until recently, now unable to print directly to printer or via a windows machine sharing the printer.

Happy to provide any and all info if anyone knows where to start to debug this.

I have P6130cdn, and recently printing stopped working for me. The jobs are being stopped (In the job state I see "stopped "Filter failed""), and in the /var/log/cups/error_log:

[Job 149] PID 20810 (/usr/lib/cups/filter/kyofilter_D) crashed on signal 6.

Anyone has an idea how to fix that?

Could you add driver for Kyocera ECOSYS P3055dn? https://cdn.kyostatics.net/dlc/za/driver/all/linux_8_1608_ecosys.-downloadcenteritem-Single-File.downloadcenteritem.tmp/Linux_8.1608_EC...05x_P3060dn.zip

Did you post to the wrong package? This supports 170 Kyocera models. Version 1.404 supported 152 Kyocera and 107 UTAX models.
