Could you add driver for Kyocera ECOSYS P3055dn? https://cdn.kyostatics.net/dlc/za/driver/all/linux_8_1608_ecosys.-downloadcenteritem-Single-File.downloadcenteritem.tmp/Linux_8.1608_EC...05x_P3060dn.zip

Did you post to the wrong package? This supports 170 Kyocera models. Version 1.404 supported 152 Kyocera and 107 UTAX models.

Can you consider renaming this as it really only supports ONE Kyocera model of printer. There's a lot it doesn't work for and I'd be interested in creating a package for my model P5021cdw

UTAX TA Triumph Adler files are no longer supplied from 8.1404 to 8.1601. My test printer Kyocera FS-4200DN shows Filter Failed with ghostscript 9.24 and works with 9.23.

Fixed in 9.24-5 and 9.25.

I am not sure that that is true in all cases. The [wiki][1] is pretty clear about it: > Note that the cups service needs a restart after a new driver has been installed! Does restarting cause any negative side-effects on your machine? [1]: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/CUPS#Printer_Drivers

severach commented on 2017-07-21 22:55 (UTC)

Please disable the install file. It is not necessary to restart cups to make the printer show up.

The linked package is a subset of the full linux package. The latest version I was able to find is at the updated URL.
