Ah now I found a solution, added DLAGENTS to use wget instead of curl now it builds as expected.

OK, I can add the lib32 stuff. I don't know how to solve the 403 error. I guess I am not allowed to host the file myself. Any ideas?

This package is broken in different ways:

  • makepkg can't download the drivers from cdn.kyostatics.net - error 403 forbidden. Downloading via Firefox works as intended.

  • the driver needs lib32-zlib to work, otherwise cups logs this error: "D [26/Feb/2018:11:57:45 +0100] [Job 7] Kyocera-FS-2100DN-KPDL: error while loading shared libraries: libz.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"

  • the driver needs lib32-libcups to work, otherwise cups logs this error: "D [26/Feb/2018:12:26:01 +0100] [Job 14] Kyocera-FS-2100DN-KPDL: error while loading shared libraries: libcups.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"

Both errors result in a "Filter Failed" message, caused by filter "/usr/lib/cups/filter/kyofilter_E".
