The systemd unit is simply called laptop-mode and being installed @thepasto :)

No systemd service on clean installation.

Confirming recent comments. 1.68 is restarting continuously, 1.67 works ok. ACER Aspire V3. Users report 1.68 works ok on Gentoo, so possibly systemd issue...

Guess you should report this to the upstream issues list (https://github.com/rickysarraf/laptop-mode-tools/issues). Here we just make package.
