The usb-autosuspend module was deprecated by upstream and is now handled by the runtime-pm module. [1]

It has been removed from this package.

I dont think there is a GUI (at least not in this package).
I checked the package's website, and the source code, but did not find any reference for a GUI.

Should not there be a GUI?

I simply removed an option in the make install line that removed the file /etc/init.d/laptop-mode, so that I can use it with OpenRC init system.

Don't think it makes any change for normal (systemd) users though, but I bumped pkgrel as I made changes in the PKGBUILD.

@aaditya, Thanks for the update, but could you explain your changes please?

https://mailman.archlinux.org/pipermail/aur-general/2014-January/026981.html may be of interest here, recommending TLP as a replacement for laptop-mode-tools:

Just as an FYI.

I'm really lacking time to work on this. Upstream not contacted yet, and I only passed a very limited time to look at the bug reports. I disown, hoping that someone having more time will look at it.

Info received:
https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/38512
https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/38534

I'm checking and will contact upstream.

Well, I might have missed the bugs in the bug tracker as I don't see them.
I'll contact the previous maintainer, see directly with him. It seems there are 2 bugs to fix, if I refer to the mailing list (https://mailman.archlinux.org/pipermail/aur-general/2014-January/026827.html).

I don't keep up with upstream, has the bug that caused it to be pulled from the official repos been fixed?
