The 1.2 release introduced a new default setting of "classic theme". It's 4:3 and titled "LBreakout 2". You can change the theme to standard in the game's graphics settings for 16:9 visuals.

Thanks for letting me know. This hack is there to fix build on aarch64, because the upstream config.guess does not (did not?) support aarch64.

I think the issue is when a system has multiple versions of /usr/share/automake* installed, this cp command refuses to overwrite the same file. I have updated the package and made the bad line look even worse :) But hopefully it works now.

Just deleting the offending line seems enough.
