Updated the package to include the proposed changes from alkino. Also, updated the upstream URL, which is now the Github page (the old one still exist, but is readonly).

There is a new dependecy: - perl-capture-tiny - perl-datetime - perl-json-xs

The last one is not mandatory because there is JSON::PP in core but the one in core is really (a lot) slow.

And one new line should be added:

test -d "$pkgdir/usr/lib" || mv "$pkgdir/lib" "$pkgdir/usr/lib"

Fixed: removed perl-perlio-gzip & perl-json, added git (makedepends)

The perl-json dependency is obsolete, it was replaced with JSON::PP which is in the perl package. Likewise perl-perlio-gzip is no longer used in favor of IO::Uncompress::Gzip which is part of perl.

Needs git in makedepends

Would you mind changing the protocol in the source URL from 'git' to 'git+https'?

Especially since no checksum verification takes place, establishing the authenticity of the remote host and protecting the the download against malicious manipulation in transit is the only line of defense.

Thank you.

Hey ... I'm the maintainer of the lcov package which is pretty useless since the last upstream release is broken on Arch. I'm suggesting people use this package until upstream tags a new release. There are a couple things that could be fixed in this package like the upstream URL and version scheme. I can fix that if you'd like to add me as a co-maintainer (as I've done for you on the other package) or I can send a patch. Let me know...

@M1cha: Fixed now. It needed also perl-json. @mosra: Fixed. 'lcov' is now provided.

this requires perl-perlio-gzip now: https://github.com/linux-test-project/lcov/commit/75fbae1cfc5027f818a0bb865bf6f96fab3202da#diff-3e8c70e9b042c063e906dc621a1d1f9c

For some reason, just installing that package doesn't help though.

Thanks for the package! :) Could you please add

provides=('lcov')

to the PKGBUILD? I have a bunch of packages that depend on lcov (which ATM doesn't work with GCC 8.1), so I switched to this one instead and it works great.
