Wow, the last release of the software is from 2002 and this appears to be that same release just pulled from another source since the original is GONE.
So for the related blog post for this zip file: https://www.netiq.com/communities/cool-solutions/cool_tools/gawors-excellent-ldap-browsereditor-v282/ appears to be the best answer to that question.

The URL in the PKGBUILD should point to a webpage with information about the project, not directly to a zip file. Is there really no upstream page?

It seems a server certificate configuration issue, a possible workaround is to add the parameter "-k" to the https dlagent within the /etc/makepkg.conf to bypass the issue
'https::/usr/bin/curl -fLC - --retry 3 --retry-delay 3 -k -o %o %u'

I'm getting an "SSL certificate problem: certificate has expired" error from curl when trying to download the zip source for this package. Is anyone getting this?
