to skip the bugsplay i need to do: $ GC_DONT_GC=1 leagueoflegends launcher maybe you can add this in the launcher variables

This package is in conflict with 'leagueoflegends' package. That should be present in the PKGBUILD.

@Soul_Est, 1. Which type of problem you have with downloading of launcher? 2. Too weird Bash must support it. =\ --- Update: I've rewrite script and use internal tiny (1.5Mb installation launcher)

I understand your reasoning. Thank you for sharing it. I have tried running the script and I end up with errors in two places: 1. Downloading the installer 2. Setting the variables to create the WINE prefix and install LoL Getting 1 to work for me has not been done yet. Getting 2 to work requires changing '. /etc/leagueoflegends.conf' to 'source /etc/leagueoflegends.conf'. After doing that, the script works.

@Soul_Est, I just try to make script logic simple and automatic. I think client installation region does not matter, as you can change region after base installation. So i choise a english client version as a base, i think anyone who want can change region on launcher menu. Thanks. --- P.S. Also with LeagueOfLegends_$REGION_Installer_2016_05_13.exe i have a strange problem it hang while installation. So i don't like it.

Excellent work on this. It works well and takes the frustration out of installing Leagues of Legends. I did have to edit the script as the naming convention changed for me. I do have some suggestions for additions to the script: # Display a list of geographical regions INFO "Region" INFO "1 North America" INFO "2 Oceania" INFO "3 Latin America North" INFO "4 Japan" INFO "5 Latin America South" INFO "6 Russia" INFO "7 Turkey" INFO "8 EU Nordic & East" INFO "9 EU West" INFO "10 Brazil" # Get the user's input read -p "Enter a region number: " REGNUM # Convert the selected region to a region code case REGNUM in: 1) REGION=NA ;; 2) REGION=OC1 ;; 3) REGION=LA1 ;; 4) REGION=JP ;; 5) REGION=LA2 ;; 6) REGION=RU ;; 7) REGION=TR ;; 8) REGION=EUNE ;; 9) REGION=EUW ;; 10) REGION=BR ;; esac # Hence the file name (in my case) would be INSTALLER_FILE_NAME="LeagueOfLegends_$REGION_Installer_2016_05_13.exe" I hope this helps.
