Hi,
what about lego-udev-rules package that we both depend on that provides 70-lego.rules.
from nxt-python
Comment by buhman
libusb-compat added to depends.

The SAM-BA PID has for whatever reason been wrong in 70-lego.rules for the last few releases (starting prior to when I owned the package), and I've known about it the entire time. No idea why it took me until now to fix it. Package release bumped to 6.

I like titiwu's pkgbuild much more than the current version; much cleaner, and it not providing non-upstream binaries is probably not a coincidence.
I also believe that this package should be named lejos-nxj.
I have uploaded titiwu's pkgbuild https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=60090 (the only modification I made was renaming it), and I will post shortly on the mailing list asking for the deletion of this package.

Sorry for the long delay. Right now I don't have a bandwidth to keep this package up to date. Regarding these custom scripts. I just don't like the software sitting in my /opt directory. For the similar reason I packaged all the dependencies separately. I'm going to orphan this package and all the dependencies (at least for now). Some of you guys can adopt it if you want.

I updated a PKGBUILD to the latest version (0.9.1beta2). I also made symlinks instead of providing own versions of the executables, but that required me to install the package to /opt (otherwise massive changes would be required in the scripts).
The files can be found here: https://github.com/titiwu/PKGBUILD/tree/master/lejos-nxj
