Updated, should work now.

Mashin commented on 2018-01-25 18:13

The package is not created. The checksum is invalid. After correcting the checksum, it says that there is no file: where can I get it?

IceflowRE commented on 2016-12-27 17:47

Here guys edit the makepkg script like this:
Change the specific lines:

The SVN download URL does not seem to be working, it seems like the official repository is now on github.

qtchooser is no longer supported (and qt5-base now conflicts with it), and as far as I can tell, it isn't needed. Everything seems to be working without it.

Y'all holler if the svn download doesn't work.

tozian commented on 2016-05-28 22:42

@PomCompot tried building again and it worked this time. If anyone has this problem again holler at me.

tozian commented on 2016-05-02 16:37

@PomCompot tried building again, have the same problem. Will work on resolving.

I encounter the following problem while trying to install:

I imagine I meant that qtchooser should be replaced by qt4 - sorry not for being clearer.

lks commented on 2016-01-01 21:12

Please replace qtchooser makedepends with qt4. Without qt4 makedepends I got the following error message:

==> Starting build()...
PKGBUILD: line 27: qmake-qt4: command not found
==> ERROR: A failure occurred in build().

Perhaps replacing "qmake-qt4" with "qmake" would solve this problem too. I have'nt tried it.

@Alister.Hood: You are not quite right. Either qtchooser or qt4 is required.

tozian commented on 2015-07-08 01:58

AUR4 version up one day before the deadline!

Alister.Hood commented on 2015-03-03 06:08

That would be against the packaging guidelines - see

Diego.Florez commented on 2015-03-02 19:02

Please add gcc to makedepends in PKGBUILD.

Alister.Hood commented on 2014-12-10 22:30

This doesn't actually require qtchooser for the build.

vtanger commented on 2013-11-24 18:34

Tried running it on a Raspberry Pi.

seconded comment by alex.forenich: please change qmake to qmake-qt4

On a RasPi it crashes with a "Speicherzugriffsfehler" (memory access fault / segmentation fault).

How much memory does Leocad need? More than 300MB? If so, the RasPi's RAM is too small. Can anyone confirm memory usage (on a different system?)

tozian commented on 2013-11-01 16:30

The PKGBUILD seems to be broken due to the release of Qt 5. This should be fixed soon.

alex.forencich commented on 2013-10-31 23:36

I couldn't get it to compile until I changed qmake in the PKGBUILD to qmake-qt4.

tozian commented on 2013-09-25 04:05

I now keep the pkgbuild on git hub at:

tozian commented on 2013-09-25 04:04

Okay everything works. Or at least it should.

tozian commented on 2013-09-25 03:26

OK the new Makefile is automatically generated and I can't get the PKGBUILD to work. If Sandmann (or anyone else) would like to help the current PKGBUILD is at

tozian commented on 2013-09-24 03:32

This package presently doesn't build. I'm still working on it.

taotedice commented on 2013-09-13 09:34

I've not been able to get the new version to build:

==> Extracting sources...

-> Extracting with bsdtar
==> Starting build()...
sed: can't read Makefile: No such file or directory

tozian commented on 2013-09-12 17:15

Sorry, for taking so long to update it. I've been busy.

tozian commented on 2013-08-04 04:50

Thanks for the note, lks.

lks commented on 2013-07-31 10:02

There are knew pieces.

tozian commented on 2013-07-04 20:51

You know when you make such stupid mistakes that all you can do is laugh at them?

That just happened.

Alister.Hood commented on 2013-07-04 08:20

It should be i686, not i386.

tozian commented on 2013-03-10 02:49

Thank you, my genius friend.

I have uploaded your modified PKGBUILD.

Sandmann commented on 2013-03-09 23:48

Regarding your previous question about the icon in the menu: Yes, that worked, I have a menu entry with an icon :) .

Sandmann commented on 2013-03-09 23:45

Hi kingsethi,

thank you for maintaining the leocad package. Here is an updated and cleaned-up PKGBUILD for the package:

With this version you don't need the patches anymore and no manual setup is required after the installation.

tozian commented on 2013-02-21 04:52

If, after installing this package, is a LeoCAD icon added to your menu? If so, please tell me here.

tozian commented on 2013-02-21 04:51

I re-did this, the PKGBUILD now applies two patches to the original source. The PKGBUILD is up at:

Thanks to you :))

tozian commented on 2013-02-12 22:05

All right guys, this package is up and running again, with a new maintainer.

Anonymous comment on 2013-01-18 09:50

I know, but makepkg was complaining about arch=() array so I properly formatted it. I don't know, it seems some sort of Xorg incompatibility.

tocer commented on 2013-01-18 07:24

error is the same.

Updated PKGBUILD, there were one or two errors
Thanks for the feedback, I'm investigating. If you manage to do something, please post here. Seems a problem with ld.

tocer commented on 2013-01-16 02:46

a newest PKGBUILD file here:

anyone help?

Duologic commented on 2011-05-23 12:45

If possible, please adopt and update the svn package too.

Duologic commented on 2010-05-20 10:38

Files have been moved over to
I won't maintain it anymore (I'm on x86_64), but would be pleased to orphan it.

I've made a package compiling the source from svn:
