Hey, thanks for the update!

To skip generating documentation:

Within build(), you can add the following arch-meson option: -Dvapi=false,

and then you can remove makedepends: gobject-introspection and vala.

Also you can delete the entire pkgver() and prepare() function.

This package needs a dependency on lib32-gssdp-1.2.3

gupnp/meson.build:21:0: ERROR: Invalid version of dependency, need 'gssdp-1.2' ['>= 1.2.3'] found '1.2.2'.

Won't build due gobject-introspection-1.0 not found unless 

export PKG_CONFIG_PATH='$PKG_CONFIG_PATH:/usr/lib32/pkgconfig/:/usr/lib/pkgconfig'
is inserted in the PKGBUILD after PKG_CONFIG line just like with lib32-gssdp
