Please kindly add lib32-libdvdcss as an optdepend, similarly as upstream libdvdread does.

A, thank you so much, Rafaelff! I didn't know this existed. Zhenbo, that was possible too, if the problem persisted for much longer, though I would rather just repackage the [extra] i686 binary so this package stays on par. Thank you as well.

How about using new Git repository of VideoLAN instead? It is in here: https://code.videolan.org/videolan/libdvdread See my Gist for a working PKGBUILD and its diff: https://git.io/vK1NB

How about go back to 5.0.0?
