I'm currently porting some very old code to Linux/SDL and for now it's easier to compile it for 32-bit because it uses custom allocators and inline assembly. So no, there is no Arch Linux package that would use lib32-sdl2_net, but having it available in the AUR is useful to me.

Are you aware of any bin32 application that can use this at all?

Earlier I've submitted a deletion request for this package, because there is nothing on AUR that would depend on it, and it is too new for old, bin32-only applications, because its first release was in 2013.
