Ok, then both packages should build from master. I’ll fix the version here and change kmymoney-git to build from master.
That means that the version could/will be lower than that of the packages in extra, even though it’s more recent.

I think it's similar to kmymoney with main development on master. The branch named for the released version (8.2 here, 5.2 in kmymoney) gets bug fixes deemed stable enough cherry picked from master, while master gets all bug fixes, plus new enhancements. For KMyMoney, packages (Appimage and such) built from master are labelled "Developer versions" and those from 5.2 are called "Stable." I'll try building both versions myself to see the difference, and if necessary, I can ask the alkimia team.
As for tags, they are only applied to released versions, and I think that only happens after branching a major release from master, and for subsequent minor releases.
I’m not sure where development happens, on the master or on the 8.2 branch. I tried switching it from 8.2 to master recently, but the tagged versions are only on the 8.2 branch, not on master. I forgot to update the version, so at the moment, pkgver lowers the version.
Do you know more about which branch this package should build?
I thought this had been working well for a while, but for at least a few weeks now, "yay libalkimia" gives me: 1 aur/libalkimia-git 8.1.95.r115.gc24c05f-1 -> 8.2.1.r60.gde4b813-1 but accepting that, it starts talking about 8.2.1.r60.... but then compiles and (re)installs 8.1.95.r115... I've tried deleting the entire ~/.cache/yay/libalkimia-git but even then it does the same thing. Have I messed up my configuration somewhere, or is this a side effect of some odd naming convention?
Apologies - that tabbed view issue is with KMyMoney, not with libalkimia.
Thanks. Looks good. Just FYI, there are still a few issues with Qt6 known upstream, mainly that tabbed home view doesn't work correctly, in case anyone complains.
Hi ostroffjh, I updated the package to Qt6, and did the same for kmymoney-git. The new PKGBUILD is based on the official Arch package. Thanks for the heads-up!
Is it time to consider switching to Qt6/KF6 and dropping qt-webengine? (I make similar comment for KMyMoney, which is the major (only?) user of this.)
