I have a feeling that this package does not handle kernel upgrade. I have my serial stopped working way more often than my old package. Will keep monitor this.

got it, thanks a lot:)

@yifwon It's lilac that does automatic updates, using the github repository as the main repository, and automatically compiles and pushes upstream updates to the aur repository.

@taotieren but after you revert the commit of Excalibu, I can not build on my host environment now. maybe you can sync the chages to your github repo, but shoud not revert on aur?

@Excalibur I used lilac for automatic updates for this package, and I'll sync the patch to github.com/taotieren/aur-repo later. Thanks for submitting it.

@yifwon I'm using the kate editor, which automatically formats to spaces when you save. I'll change the settings.

I actually don't like how there is whole bunch of duplication in PKGBUILD. This is unnecessarily complicated. I much prefer the approach in my own package.
I was waiting for nixpkgs to merge my PR to get a persistent URL for the patch file. Oh well that took forever. I guess I'll just duplicate it here.

@Excalibur thanks for your tips on linux 6.12, I have the same problem and fix build error using your patch. Can you add your patch into this PKGBUILD? Thanks a lot.
EDIT: @taotieren and also please use tabs instead of spaces, or there will be some error about losing delimiter
Oh, I see your issue at upstream, thanks for your effort. https://github.com/WCHSoftGroup/ch9344ser_linux/issues/30

I can co-maintain this package for now. It's broken on Linux 6.12 again and I already fixed it in NixOS.
You should also use tabs instead of spaces for Makefile indentation.

You can set the checksum of ch9344-dkms to SKIP if you remove the ch9344-dkms package. Want to co-maintain ch9344ser-git packages?
