Confirming Genues' report, plus the failure mode it doesn't cover.
If you already had this installed when opencv 5 landed, there's no build error at all, it just stops working. The soname moved from .413 to .500, so fprintd dies before it touches the device:
/usr/lib/fprintd: error while loading shared libraries: libopencv_stitching.so.413 and every caller then reports a D-Bus failure pointing nowhere near opencv:
GDBus.Error:...NameHasNoOwner: Could not activate remote peer 'net.reactivated.Fprint' Check with ldd /usr/lib/libfprint-2.so.2 | grep 'not found'.
Packaging implication: pkgver hasn't moved, so existing -git users have nothing to rebuild and stay broken indefinitely. This needs a pkgrel bump to force the relink.
Sent upstream, same as Genues' fix but with an opencv4 fallback so it still builds on distros that haven't moved yet like debian stuff: https://github.com/archeYR/libfprint-CS9711/pull/12
Workaround meanwhile: patch as Genues describes, then makepkg -sif. Enrolled prints in /var/lib/fprint survive the rebuild.

HI! Not build, error "libfprint-CS9711/libfprint/sigfm/meson.build:4:9: ERROR: Dependency "opencv4" not found (tried pkg-config and cmake)"
Upd. For successful build, is necessary to replace depend in file libfprint-CS9711/libfprint/sigfm//meson.build. I added to PKGBUILD in build section command "sed -i 's/opencv4/opencv5/g' libfprint-CS9711/libfprint/sigfm//meson.build" for solve it.
