The previous patches are no longer required and have been removed.

Thanks, the files are now also updated.

Hi, The last line of PKGBUILD reads: sed 's/<libfreenect.h>/<libfreenect\/libfreenect.h>/g' -i "${pkgdir}/usr/include/libfreenect/libfreenect.hpp" You should also update the corresponding #include of files libfreenect-audio.h, libfreenect-registration.h and libfreenect_sync.h of /usr/include/libfreenect for programs using these headers to compile. Regards,

Now that libfreenect-git enables audio by default, is there any difference in using this package? Do we need to keep it?

Sandmann commented on 2013-01-03 13:03 (UTC)

Latest update to the PKGBUILD now includes the Python wrapper and enables audio by default.

Could you please add python wrapper support? I added " _pybin=python2 _pydir=python2.7 " and cmake parameters " -DBUILD_PYTHON=ON -DPYTHON_EXECUTABLE=/usr/bin/$_pybin -DPYTHON_INCLUDE_DIR=/usr/include/$_pydir -DPYTHON_LIBRARY=/usr/lib/lib$_pydir.so " It compiled.

It's using the "https" URL now. Additionally, I've included some minor changes to the dependencies. PS: Some of you might be interested that I've uploaded a package for the versioned libfreenect release (https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=64183)

I would like to suggest using the "https" URL for pulling/cloning since that readily works with the http/https_proxy environment variables. The git URL is bound to fail behind a proxy unless it's configured globally for git. It's not a hard requirement in any way. Just a suggestion.

Thank you for the information. The problem should be fixed now. Please give it another try.
