Can't build. I get the "mv: cannot stat '/tmp/pakku-onexused/imagemagick6/pkg/libmagick6/usr/lib/perl5': No such file or directory" error. Commenting out line 105 in PKGBUILD lets it finish, for anyone who needs a temporary workaround.

Still does not build. Same error:
ERROR: arch-fonts.diff was not found in the build directory and is not a URL. Failed to build imagemagick6

I've now tried building this several times over the past few weeks, with a clean cache, and after building and testing, and doing most of the install, it fails with make[1]: Leaving directory '/home/jack/.cache/yay/imagemagick6/src/ImageMagick6-6.9.12-19' mv: cannot stat '/home/jack/.cache/yay/imagemagick6/pkg/libmagick6/usr/lib/perl5': No such file or directory ==> ERROR: A failure occurred in package_libmagick6(). Aborting... error making: imagemagick6 (libmagick6) Is it looking in the right place for perl, or should there be a link or copy there?

clear the build cache of the package you will be able to install/update.
@tioguda can you orientate me on how to do that? I did a search and couldn't find out how to do that on an individual package, besides uninstalling it?

@bkb:
I will not be creating a binary package release. Feel free to make your own if you wish.

Thanks,
It works since I have cleaned the AUR cache in pamac.
jvr3 commented on 2021-06-01 07:24 (UTC)
I had to do a clean update again for this install for the same reason as before. This is the only package that seems to regularly requires a clean update. Is there something else one might require to address that, so the next update doesn't also require a clean update?

DO NOT report issues if you’re using an AUR helper (including Pamac aka Add/Remove Software). If you have a problem, build it manually and see if you can reproduce the issue.
Please don't spam the comments if the package is out of date. Just flag it out of date.
