@matteomattei: thanks for your help, I read the page you linked and tried to connect the reader to another pc with Arch Linux, but lsusb still shows no device. The green light on the reader keeps blinking slowly.

I installed this package but it seems the reader still doesn't work. lsusb shows no device, and inserting a card the green light keeps blinking while on Windows it stays on. Is there something else I must do apart from installing this package to make the card reader work? Thanks.

An idea could be how "cpk" makes with the Nessus package http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=9773 He asks the user to manually download the rpm package and save it in the root of the uncompressed folder, we could make the same with the "Linux.zip" package.

The url is changed but is built and not real so wget is not able to retrieve the actual file.
We need to understand which is the real url of the Linux.zip archive (if it is available inside the document root of the official website)

The URL of the drivers package has changed.
I replaced by this http://www.bit4id.com/es/index.php?option=com_zoo&task=item&item_id=28&Itemid=535 and it worked.
It would be right if you could update it.
Thanks
