It works (builds) now - Thanks :-)

uffe, it should be fixed now

The patch fails to apply

Upstream dropped "install" target and does not recommend users install this library system-wide. It should be cloned/compiled per-project instead. https://github.com/libopencm3/libopencm3/commit/7c1cd2e5cd3f3d1193ee375b46cfd8afaccb89f7 I probably will remove this package from AUR soon.

Hi anatolik, sure, please adopt the package. I'm in the middle of moving to a different city and don't have much time to maintain it right now. Best regards, Martin

Hi Martin. I am an Arch developer who maintains arm-none-eabi toolchain in [community]. I also use libopencm3 for my hobby projects. I'll be glad to cleanup and keep maintaining the project. What do you think? Do you want to donate it to me or you want to keep maintaining by yourself?

mschmoelzer commented on 2013-11-09 11:47 (UTC)

Done. Additional change in today's update: the PKGBUILD now builds the latest git commit and automatically generates the package version with the pkgver() function.

libopencm3 installs static .a libraries into system for different boards. But makepkg throw them away by default. To correct this options in PKGBUILD should be changed as follows: options=(!strip staticlibs) Can you fix it?
