I have no more information about applications, aka "browse tab is empty". I don't see error messages when I execute pamac-manager from Gnome Console, and i am unable to find any log, but it could be due to this recent change in archlinux-appstream-data, which change paths for data:

this package must have appstream as dependencies. temporarily: pacman -Syu appstream

I got this error when updating:

Run-time dependency appstream found: NO (tried pkgconfig and cmake)

../src/ ERROR: Dependency "appstream" not found, tried pkgconfig and cmake
