This extension as of now, doesn't work with the libreoffice-fresh (v5.3) in the Extension Manager it says "Error: The status of the extension is unknown".
I've also tried using java 7 unsuccessfully. I am going to contact the developers about the issue, since it didn't work with LO 5.2.x on Windows (when this happened, a few months back, LO just crashed).
