Feeling too weird it's only a problem for me, I investigated it a bit.
libreoffice 3.4 use cairo for font-rendering, I guess this means this package
can't do anything with this libreoffice version.

So my comment is not relevant.
Sorry about disturbing.

Sry I am new to arch, i forgot to click on Notify, and about the flagging.

I flagged out of date because it doesn't work with latest libreoffice.

it can't depend on libreoffice, as it is a group now
INSTDIR should be libreoffice/basis3.4

Why was this flagged out of date? freetype 2.4.6 is the latest and the infinality patches are also the latest.

My build works again now...and doesn't include the infinality patches...I don't see the point in doing that...

"base-devel" is a group package, not a meta-package, sorry

"patch" is included into the meta-package "base-devel". If you start using AUR, you are supposed to have "base-devel" installed on your system.

@gymka: Why?

add to dependencies "patch", by default in archlinux there is no such package installed.

Really, why do these exist? My pkgbuild - the original - always puts the .so files in the correct directory, no matter which version or fork of openoffice you run.

Runs fine for me, no crashes. Only thing I changed in the PKGBUILD was the install directory. In order to match the latest package in extra.
