Under latest RetroArch 1.10.0 (and maybe before), this core makes a loud intermittent cracking sound since the very start and works extremely slow.
The only non standard thing I have is pipewire + wireplumber (instead of pulseaudio), but I have many other cores installed plus games and audio applications and this is the only software making that sound.

It should depend on libretro-core-info like other cores.
