Not sure if needed anymore.
But if it is, please kindly add
makedepends=(git)and implement VCS package conformant pkgver() function in PKGBUILD.I suggest to start counting revisions from this commit which acknowledges release version

Also another suggestion: there is a new feature by a fork with 1 new commit on top, implementing half-duplex SPI support. Original repo seems dead, no development happening there, this new feature will never get merged.

Should have git in makedepends and have pkgver function
