a question in general: does the driver provides vaapi support to sandy brige/ivy bridge? because 'libva-intel-driver' does not support vaapi any longer and i looking for a replacement…
Both Arch Linux's and this AUR package support Ivy Bridge and Sandy Bridge (aside from Chromium without a workaround), either your installation is messed up or you are trying to use vainfo
on a Wayland compositor without wl_drm
support which incorrectly shows the driver not working.

This is a personal fork of the VA-API driver, with additional features and fixes, namely working Chromium video decoding support.

(p.s. this is my first time doing packages with the AUR, packaging complaints are more than welcome)
