I think this is no longer required. There is a note on the Wiki at: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Hardware_video_acceleration#Configuration, that mentions that mesa has removed support for VDPAU. Looks like VA-API fully replaces it?

I just noticed this package got removed from official repo, is it still relevant? I mean, could it mean it's no longer required to get vaapi support on nvdia cards, or was it a X11 thing only? I'm trying to understand if it makes sense to now install this from AUR, or better get it removed as no longer officially supported.
