libxxf86misc is no longer required?

I think you misunderstood what I was trying to say. I'm saying the PKGBUILD for this package is out of date. Light-locker switched to meson as their build system. I'm simply saying you should use the current PKGBUILD as inspiration.

Not possible, light-locker exists in community.

Please update to the latest PKGBUILD with the git tag removed. PKGBUILD can be found here:

Light-locker has an issue with systemd 243.0:

To fix the issue, fetch the systemd package sources, modify the _backports variable to include the fixes:

Build and install. It should fix the issue until the next systemd release.

Seems like it, thx. Removed the patch.

The patch is not needed anymore since they are using "libsystemd" as is now. In fact, the patch fails when it tries to apply it. I remove the second line of the checksum and the function that applies the patch and it worked.

Nice, thx for the patch.

Here's a PKGBUILD that works with the latest master (1.7.0)
