FYI package can be found here http://ala.seblu.net/packages/p/portaudio/ portaudio-19_20140130-3 works for me

@anthrit, there is confirmation that putting older portaudio.so's into /usr/lib/lightworks solves the issue without downgrading system-wide library. Could you make a patch, please?

Ligthworks is not compatible with the newest PortAudio library ((190600_20161030-1). Here is more info: https://www.lwks.com/index.php?option=com_kunena&func=view&catid=21&id=127559&Itemid=81#127559 I think that embedding older libportaudio*.so's directly in /usr/lib/lightworks/ may be a decent workaround (this must be verified) until EditShare release an official patch.

I'm getting an Internal Error whilst trying to login on a 64bit install. https://www.lwks.com/index.php?option=com_kunena&func=view&catid=217&id=124240&Itemid=81 Any ideas?

I have amd graphics card and propietary drivers. After the release of linux 4.7 I won't be able anymore to update fglrx and I'll use amdgpu opensource drivers. To use lwks I had to install fglrx. Does anyone know if lightworks will work after the upgrade?

***Noob alert*** Lightworks seams to install just fine no errors but when it is launched it hangs on "Loading plugin modules.." If I click on the loading window the program terminates. Has anyone seen this issue? How was it solved? In response to my own comment on 2016-02-22, it seems I had some custom version of libssl and libcrypto installed to try and mitigate the problem. After removing the outdated version, it is now working as expected (with the exception of the broken download link in the pkgbuild)

@anthrit - package download location is broken. Correct link I found is http://downloads.lwks.com/lwks-12.6.0-amd64.deb
