Can you please add linphone=${pkgver} to the provides array?

And if there is no /usr/bin/linphone, can you create one, as it has been in the past?

There are packages that depend on linphone.

Thanks for maintaining!

Looks like nobody is taking care of this package anymore. I got the very same error as jose1711:

fatal: Repository '/var/tmp/pamac-build-gerd/linphone-desktop-all-git/src/liblinphone.git' does not exist.
fatal: Cloning of '/var/tmp/pamac-build-gerd/linphone-desktop-all-git/src/liblinphone.git' in Submodul-Pfad '/var/tmp/pamac-build-gerd/linphone-desktop-all-git/src/linphone-desktop/linphone-sdk/liblinphone' failed.
Second attempt to clone 'liblinphone' failed, aborting.
==> ERROR: An error occurred in prepare().
    Aborting...
As the last comment mentioning this problem is from February 2020 already, and nobody responded, it looks like there is no maintainer anymore.

I get immediate crashes when trying to make/answer calls too. One of the error messages is

QML Settings: Failed to initialize QSettings instance. Status code is: 1

trem0r commented on 2019-08-13 21:43 (UTC)

Using yay to compile, compiles fine. However, when making a phone call via sip, the program crashes and spits this out:

@lilmike This issue is related only to linphonec which is the console mode, the GUI is working fine.

I've tried compiling the package without specify the /opt/linphone-desktop directory (ignoring the patch linphone-desktop.patch and linphone.patch) and it works but only if I leave it and execute the command without moving it to /opt.

I guess the issue is caused by some of its dependencies which requires adjust the patch in some way. If you want you could install the package https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/linphone-desktop-all which is the stable version 4.1.1 for linphone-desktop or even https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/linphone which is the version 3.12.0 for linphone and the linphonec command runs OK in both packages. While I'll try to fix the package in order to run linphonec.

@frealgagu it gives me can't find a library error which is in its custom lib or lib64 directory.
