BFQ enabled in 4.8.14-2 and working great so far.

Finally, patch for 4.8 branch is released. I've adapted this package with "the new hooks way", always following linux in [core], also there are some minor "fixes" en PKGBUILD.

BFQ is disabled in this first release... Compilation fails when it tries to build, so I need more time to look at it.

@pavbaranov yeah, it was a typo. It's BFQ not BFS patches. I pushed a commit with a correction :)

Oh, we have new patch for BFS: http://cchalpha.blogspot.com/2015/09/gcv4204632-released.html

Hmmm... I've read last changes in PKGBUILD and you added BFQ for kernel 4.2 rather, then BFS for 4.2 (we haven't got official Kolivas' patch for 4.2, yet)

Here you have PKGBUILD for linux-bld with Alfred Chen's BFS implementation that builds working kernel: http://paste.openstack.org/show/473782/
You shoud use two patches: first gc_v4.2_0463_1.patch and next is: https://bitbucket.org/alfredchen/linux-gc/downloads/fix_topology_thread_cpumask.patch
Source: http://cchalpha.blogspot.com/2015/09/42-sync-up-completed-for-gc-branch.html
I've use it.

I have problems to apply gc_v4.2_0463_1.patch. I tried with old patches and they seems to work. Please, check and report if all is ok.

Thanks @pavbaranov, I usually pick BFS patches from -ck kernel. I'm building a new release with this patch:
https://bitbucket.org/alfredchen/linux-gc/downloads/gc_v4.2_0463_1.patch

It works perfectly with old BFQ for 4.1.
Sometimes linux-bld is build with BFS patch. If you want it, there is Alfred Chen's BFS patch for kernel 4.2: http://cchalpha.blogspot.com/2015/09/42-sync-up-completed-for-gc-branch.html
