Same issue for me with last 5.4.237, it doesn't boot

I'd like to update but I can't get any of 4.14.310,4.19.278,5.4.237,5.10.175 to boot on Haswell or Coffee Lake Intel video. Hangs at the point in the text boot where the video switches. Switch to an ATI 6450 and 5.4.237 boots fine.
5.15.103,6.1.20,6.2.6 boot with Intel video fine.
Thinking that it might be a compiler or environment change I update, reboot into 6.1.20, rm all pkg, rebuild all n and n-1 versions. Version n won't boot, version n-1 will boot.
Looks like it was found by Alpine and Phil@Manjaro.

linux-lts are easy for me. I auto build to the latest versions on kernel.org at night. 4.14 to 5.10 take 6.3 hours on the laptops and 1.5 hours on the workstations. All ready to install and test in the morning.

As you can see, the package received a new custodian. Thank you very much!

Sadly...no word...

Sadly yes. See: https://archlinux.org/news/in-memory-of-jonathon-fernyhough/
Projected EOL of 5.4 is December 2025 though, so 2 years 10 months to go.

Please make sure you read the "How to use the AUR" wiki page before reporting issues: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Arch_User_Repository#Installing_and_upgrading_packages
This kernel has backported support for zstd initramfs compression and so the mkinitcpio=30 compression defaults will work without change.
A binary package is also available in my kernel-lts unofficial user repository.
