Some patches for BFQ conflict with patches for BFQ-dev.

To use linux-rt-bfq-dev smoothly apply bfq-reverts before bfq-dev patch. Otherwise the kernel will not compile.

It looks like this option in kernel-rt has been replaced by another. Instead of CONFIG_PREEMPT_RT_BASE and CONFIG_PREEMPT_RT_FULL you now have CONFIG_PREEMPTION and CONFIG_PREEMPT_RT. Next it is a real-time kernel only the individual configurations have changed.

blackhole commented on 2020-07-15 16:59

What do you mean? Without that is not a... real realtime kernel

sir_lucjan commented on 2020-07-15 16:52

Thanks for paying attention. It looks like CONFIG_PREEMPT_RT_FULL is no longer available in the rt patch. I've updated config.

blackhole commented on 2020-07-15 16:35

It seems that the final kernel build is not full RT. In the included config file there is CONFIG_PREEMPT_RT_FULL=y

but not in the src directory after running makepkg

Can you check?

In reply to sogens666 I have found both linux-rt and linux-rt-bfq-dev to have similar build times when building with an Intel i7 8700K using all cores and threads.

Fixed

The sha512 sum of the file 'patch-5.6.19-rt11.patch.xz' is the problem here. That hash doesn't match the one listed in the PKGBUILD

You probably need to add a gpg key.

==> ERROR: One or more files did not pass the validity check! how do I fix this

sir_lucjan commented on 2020-05-29 00:30

Could someone confirm that?
