@schrmh Sorry for the misleading, module ashmem has been removed from kernel 6.x, so it does not work anymore! https://github.com/anbox/anbox/issues/2042

And anbox has been archived on Feb 13, 2024. So reinstating legacy ashmem support by https://github.com/torvalds/linux/commit/721412ed3d819e767cac2b06646bf03aa158aaec may be a bad idea. Let it go, how about using Waydroid+binder instead?

update: I found this https://github.com/choff/anbox-modules, it is still maintained to support 6.x, maybe you can package it as a dynamic Kernel Module.

Is ashmem really working on your end? Doesn't really seem to be added to this kernel on my end at least...

@TheGoliath

update to 5.4.43, becasue boot crashes with a kernel built with gcc-10

@TheGoliath I only choose several "longterm maintenance" kernel releases to update this package. So it is updated with low frequency. Next version is 5.4.50, and 5.6 is not a LTS, maybe 5.9 is.

By the way, if you want to use 5.4.41(or even 5.4.43), just edit PKGBUILD _LLL_SUBVER=36 to _LLL_SUBVER=41, then updpkgsums. Most time, it works, unless we need new patches for ck, uksm, cjktty patch, like uksm-patch-for-5.4.33+.patch or need other patches for sphinx docs, new legacy support, etc.
