I've removed my previous patch and replaced it with one that adds three things from the Debian packages (all of which I need to apply in order to properly interact with a mailman running on an Ubuntu host):

- the aforementioned support for the "discard" action
- listadmin doesn't try to write to logfiles named after the repo URL (which is bad if you're managing a remote installation and listadmin tries to write to a file called "http://lists...")
- better support for other languages (if mailman's web interface is not English)
- better support for newer mailman versions (otherwise listadmin though there were many subscription requests to handle when there weren't any; those requests it thought it should handle included "From" addresses like "Post by non-member to...")

Package release number is still at 2.

Here's a patch that adds support for the "discard" action. The functionality patch was taken from the corresponding Debian package; the patch I'm linking to also includes the modifications to PKGBUILD etc.
