It's unclear whether this application is still being developed: the forums are full of spam, mailing lists have no activity for 2+ months, no commits to github for 8 months, no commits to private code-review system for 4 months

The motivations for LizardFS were because MooseFS was closed-source. It might be worth switching over to MooseFS now that development is active there and it is now open-source.

After my Update today i was unable to mount my lizardfs storage. libfuse.so.3 is missing which is provided in fuse3. I think that something with the fuse package has changed. Please change the dependency to fuse3. Thanks

There's a typo in PKGBUILD! conflics -> conflicts :) And, by the way, 3.11.3 is ready.

EDIT: it looks like it was a bug. They are going to release a fix in the next release. Thanks for the patch. I compiled and installed the package successfully. But one issue remains. I reported it to LizardFS: https://github.com/lizardfs/lizardfs/issues/480 I don't know why it is happening (is it a a LizardFS issue? An Arch Linux compilation issue ou incompatibility with a library?) I tried LizardFS in Ubuntu and Debian and It worked without any issue. I'm curious to know more about your experience: Is LizardFS working for you? (1 master + 2 chunkserver + copy files into the mount point)

Thanks for the report. Release 3.10.2-2 fixes both those issues.

Another issue with 3.10.2-1: The LizardFS CGI Server doesn't work because /usr/bin/python is Python 3 and /usr/sbin/lizardfs-cgiserver works only with Python 2. Since /usr/sbin/lizardfs-cgiserver is a Python 2 script, I recommend you to force Python 2 with this shebang to solve the issue: #!/usr/bin/env python2 PS: I sent a bug report to LizardFS FYI https://github.com/lizardfs/lizardfs/issues/479 . Until then, it would be nice if you patch your AUR package. Thank you!

Issue with 3.10.2-1: $ systemctl start lizardfs-master Failed to start lizardfs-master.service: Unit lizardfs-master.service not found. The solution: mv /usr/lib/systemd/lizardfs*.services /usr/lib/systemd/system/
