Without this package I got an error during compilation:

The compilation error: PKGBUILD: line 42: dep: command not found

dep

Just tried to install, it is missing the dep make-dependency! Please add it to the dependencies.

I updated to 0.5-beta-rc2 because 0.4.2 beta wasn't building for me anymore. Something to do with the dependencies I think.

@danbadjar, I am not sure. namcap didn't say I missed any dependencies. I think glibc is the only dependency.
