lndir is more a user command line utility than a component in a build chain. As such it may still be useful even if no other packages explicitly depend on it.

There is other such case of binary provided by "imake" package and is packaged separately in AUR, package "makedepend", but 1 package depends specifically on it, 0 packages depend on this hence the request.

I don't feel strongly about keeping this package alongside imake, but IMHO it doesn't hurt to offer this for people not interested in the C-preprocessor and a bunch of X11 legacy stuff
