I installed a fresh copy of this just after it was updated and all seems to be working fine. Thank you to @fagianijunior for adopting this. I appreciate you making this available.

6 versions out of date now
no point in using AUR anymore. best to maintain your own PKGBUILD
the admins wait 1 month after a package is flagged out of date to even look into it. package maintainer comes back for 1 update and goes MIA again. beyond frustrating.

This package is outdated, I did a patch and send to the maintainer. Awaiting...

I've been getting SSL issues when creating new instances of WP via Local on my machine. I have requested to orphan this package as this has been flagged out of date for several instances now.

@maijari I suggest launching the software from the terminal so you can see any potential output that might give you a hit to what's going on when the electron app locks up.

Not sure if it's just me or my brand new Manjaro i3 install, but I've been experiencing the Electron issue again where Local becomes non-responsive when it's running for some time. The local Wordpress website I'm working on is still working, however when I switch to the Local program, I can't click on anything.
The Local process continues to run but the Local interface is non-interactable.

Thanks for the explanation and the PKGBUILD @zc0rp10. Keeping the name makes sense. Hopefully it will be orphaned so someone can maintain it. I'm happy to help if I can but I haven't done AUR packaging before. There's a first time for everything I suppose.

@ajshakib If you're no longer interested in maintaining the package, please orphan it so it can be picked up by someone else.
@esa1975 Name can be changed for this package without creating a new one. Maintainer just have to put in a request with AUR team.
With regards to a name change however, I'd be careful so you don't end up conflicting with the local
command. I'd vote to keep it as it is, software is still called Local, and it's still being produced by Flywheel. Guessing most of us still reefer to it as local by flywheel.

I also can confirm that @zc0rp10's PGKBUILD works fine. I see that an email was sent to the maintainer. Is it possible to just create a new package? It would allow for fixing the name at least.
