It took me ages to figure it but it turned out that there were missing includes from GLibC. I resolved this by re-installing.

Hi everyone

I'm getting a sanity check error for the c compiler during config. I'm on GCC6, does anyone know if I need to install an earlier version of GCC to get this to work or is there something else that I'm missing missing?

Here's the config.log:

Ok, I am the new maintainer and thanks to herr-biber for the patch.

ido commented on 2016-07-17 18:52

Disowning since I replaced log4cxx with an in-house library that's faster.

I fixed narrowing bugs based on upstream SVN commit and filed a PR:

@lopsided98 workaround fixed building with gcc6 here.

Here is a working PKGBUILD:

lopsided98 commented on 2016-05-28 01:02

The simplest fix for now seems to be to add the "-Wno-narrowing" compiler flag.

nxcjk commented on 2016-05-12 12:12

Does not build anymore with gcc6. Maybe you can add a patch for it until 0.11.0 is released?

It's possible to build this package on aarch64 by copying config.sub and config.guess from /usr/share/automake-1.15 to the src directory before calling configure. Would it be possible to make these changes (or if there is a more professional way) to the package?

alprazolam commented on 2016-02-05 11:23

Fixed for me here, thanks

Same problem here, says "license field should be an array"

hectorgrey commented on 2016-02-04 03:29

I can - the license field should be an array (i.e. surrounded in parentheses) but it isn't. As such, makepkg complains.

ido commented on 2016-02-02 03:35

Can you be more specific @6ng4n?

6ng4n commented on 2016-02-02 03:10

License field is wrong please fix

Alright, thanks for all the comments. I've uploaded version -3, which hopefully uses a more recent "packaging style". Namely, packaging has been split into the build() and package() functions, the "|| exit 1" has been removed from the call to `make' and both $srcdir and $pkgdir have replaced $startdir.

KerrickStaley commented on 2013-01-30 08:18

Also, $startdir/pkg needs to be changed to $pkgdir

rakuco, $pkgdir usually isn't $startdir/pkg; it just happens to be configured that way on your system I think.

KerrickStaley commented on 2013-01-30 07:43

$startdir/src needs to be changed to $srcdir

Also removing the "out of date" flag since this is the latest stable version. Can you please paste the build errors you are having?

Anonymous comment on 2013-01-17 12:07

I've just tested it here and everything worked fine.

morxa commented on 2013-01-17 10:41

Doesn't build because it still uses $startdir.
