This package is deliberatly on 2.0.8.
Versions after that are different in their source structure and how to build. With no straight forward way to do that? At least I don't see it. Help appreciated. More helpful than deleting the package especially if there are packages that depend on it.
Of note: Although debian packages a newer version, Fedora on the other hand seems to be on 2.0.8.
