In my Wayland gnome system, I had to change the StartupWMClass on the desktop file to Logseq (with an upper case
l
) for the icon to show correctly on the Gnome Dash to Panel.MoritzWM commented on 2023-04-24 06:28 (UTC)
Regarding wayland support: I managed to natively run it in wayland (with title bar and fractional scaling support) by using the logseq-desktop-bin (not wayland-bin!) package and writing
into $XDG_CONFIG_HOME/logseq-flags.conf

Do you have issue that title bar not displaying?
I'm runing Logseq-wayland on Gnome, no title bar show up.

Work natively on wayland for me on swaywm.
swaymsg -t get_tree | grep \"Logseq\" output: "name": "Logseq", "app_id": "Logseq",

Hi! Is this package supposed to work natively without xwayland compatibility layer?
Here it still runs in xwayland... I check the desktop file and the flags are enabled indeed.

The other edition runs on wayland using xwayland compatibility layer

Changed .desktop file so logseq now starts with flags --enable-features=UseOzonePlatform --ozone-platform=wayland and runs natively on wayland. Also I'll update the package more frequently I guess: I have a script that notifies me if there's a new release of certain app on Github
