I've re-added the features & release build, for some strange reason lto linking was having issues and in the process I removed features to see if it would help. My bad everyone!

@talwat: as you also provide binaries for x86_64 I created a lowfi-bin AUR PKGBUILD (https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/lowfi-bin) that omits the need to download the dependencies, hope this is okay for you :)
