update: using a virtualenv for python2.7 fixes the prior error. but soon after it fails again on

SCons import failed. Unable to find engine files in:
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/bin/scons", line 195, in <module>
    import SCons.Script
ImportError: No module named SCons.Script

Ditto on failing to build, same error as Dreieck posted. (i think) comes from the SConstruct file using python 2.x syntax and being built with python 3.x. no clue how to force it to build in 2.x though, that would probably fix it... editing the SConstruct file doesnt work either, it gets auto-rewritten when patching

Fails to build for me:

==> Starting build()...
scons: Reading SConscript files ...
  File "[...]/aur-lprof/src/lprof-", line 57

    raise RuntimeError, "Program exited with non-zero exit code."

SyntaxError: invalid syntax

==> ERROR: A failure occurred in build().

Confirm. I had to edit the PKGBUILD to be able to compile it.

==> ERROR: license should be an array

confirm, please add paren to "GPL" :)

I can confirm.

There is a small mistake in the PKGBUILD. My makepkg (5.0.1) compains that "license should be an array". Apart from this, everything worked fine.

The install works :)

I will test tonight the application.
Python3 is my default package, can it be an issue ?

Thks seidler !

seidler2547 commented on 2016-01-31 20:15

Ok, I have reproduced both issues in a clean Arch environment and updated the package. It should build now, but there might be issues with python2 vs. python(3) that I did not test (i.e. if python3 is your default python).

So please try again and let me know the results :)

I have this error with yaourt :

scons: *** [/tmp/yaourt-tmp-jedi/aur-lprof/pkg/lprof/usr/share/lprof/data/translations/lprof_de.qm] Source `data/translations/lprof_de.qm' not found, needed by target `/tmp/yaourt-tmp-jedi/aur-lprof/pkg/lprof/usr/share/lprof/data/translations/lprof_de.qm'.

Any help ?
